One of the key assets of the Station is a unique collection of domestic poultry – Ukrainian breeds and local populations of chickens and turkeys formed over decades in different regions of the country. This gene pool serves as a valuable resource for breeding new lines and crosses that combine high productivity with adaptability to the climatic and management conditions of Ukraine.
